4. The offer
The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered.
- Images on the website are a truthful representation of the products offered. Minor colour and texture deviations are possible due to monitor settings and the nature of the material.
- For glass sliding wall systems, minor deviations in dimensions may occur. The tolerance is ±2mm on the specified measurements. This is inherent to custom glass products and does not constitute a defect.
- Each offer contains sufficient information so that it is clear to the consumer what rights and obligations are associated with accepting the offer.
- All prices in the offer include VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer are not binding on the entrepreneur.
- The offer is valid while stocks last or until the indicated end date.
5. The agreement
The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and meets the conditions set.
- If the consumer has accepted the offer electronically, the entrepreneur will promptly confirm receipt of the acceptance electronically.
- The entrepreneur takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure the electronic transfer of data and ensures a secure web environment.
- Within legal limits, the entrepreneur may investigate whether the consumer can meet their payment obligations.
- If, based on the investigation, the entrepreneur has good grounds not to enter into the agreement, they are entitled to refuse an order or request or to attach special conditions to its execution.
6. Right of withdrawal
The consumer may cancel an agreement regarding the purchase of a product within a cooling-off period of 14 days without giving reasons. The entrepreneur may ask the consumer for the reason for withdrawal, but the consumer cannot be obliged to state their reason(s).
- The customer has 14 days to withdraw from the order (notify of return).
- After this notification, the customer has another 14 days to actually return the product.
- The refund must take place within 14 days of the return notification.
- The cooling-off period begins on the day after the consumer, or a third party designated in advance by the consumer who is not the carrier, has received the product.
- During the cooling-off period, the consumer shall handle the product and packaging with care. They shall only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.
- Should the product be damaged, or should the packaging be more damaged than necessary to assess the product, we may charge you for this reduction in value. Therefore, handle the product with care and ensure it is properly packaged when returning it.
- Please also be aware that rails supplied to length that have been shortened, processed or installed, as well as glass panels that have been placed in the system, can cause significant reduction in value. After assembly, these products can in many cases no longer be sold or reused as new.
- Pursuant to Article 6:230p paragraph 1 sub f of the Dutch Civil Code, the right of withdrawal is EXCLUDED for custom-made products. Since our glass sliding wall systems are manufactured based on specifications provided by the consumer (dimensions, glass type, colour, number of rails), these products are exempt from the right of withdrawal.
- Standard products and accessories that are not custom-made are covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal.

All prices on the website are in euros and include 21% VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise.
- During the validity period stated in the offer, the prices of the products offered will not be increased, except for price changes resulting from changes in VAT rates.

The entrepreneur guarantees that the products comply with the agreement, the specifications stated in the offer, the reasonable requirements of reliability and/or usability, and the legal provisions existing on the date the agreement was concluded.
- All products come with the statutory warranty under Dutch consumer law. This means a product must do what the consumer can reasonably expect of it.
- In addition, Schuifwand Wereld offers a 5-year manufacturer warranty on all glass sliding wall systems, starting from the delivery date.
- The manufacturer warranty covers: manufacturing defects, material defects and structural deficiencies that occur during normal use.
- The warranty does NOT apply to: damage from incorrect installation or assembly not performed according to the supplied manual, normal wear and tear, damage caused by the consumer or third parties, damage from negligent or improper maintenance, damage from extreme weather conditions or natural disasters, and cosmetic variations that do not affect functionality.

- If delivery of an ordered product proves impossible, the entrepreneur will make every effort to provide a replacement product.
- In case of force majeure (including but not limited to: strikes, fire, government measures, transport problems, supply problems with suppliers) the entrepreneur may extend the delivery period or dissolve the agreement, without being liable for damages.
10. Payment
Payment is made via the payment methods offered on the website.
- The consumer must make payment when placing the order, unless otherwise agreed.
- Available payment methods include: iDEAL and other methods as offered through our payment provider.
- In case of non-payment or late payment, and after the entrepreneur has notified the consumer of the late payment and allowed a period of 14 days to fulfil their payment obligations, the consumer shall owe statutory interest on the outstanding amount.
- In case of default, the entrepreneur, subject to legal limitations, has the right to charge the reasonable costs previously communicated to the consumer.
11. Complaints procedure
Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted to the entrepreneur in a timely, complete and clearly described manner.
- Complaints can be submitted via email: info@schuifwandwereld.nl or by phone: +31 (0)6 4565 3400.
- Complaints submitted to the entrepreneur will be answered within 14 days from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires a foreseeable longer processing time, the entrepreneur will respond within 14 days with an acknowledgement of receipt and an indication of when the consumer can expect a more detailed response.
- A complaint about a product must be reported as soon as possible after discovery, but no later than 2 months after discovery.
- The consumer must give the entrepreneur at least 4 weeks to resolve the complaint through mutual consultation.
- In the event of a complaint, a consumer must first contact the entrepreneur. If the online store is a member of WebwinkelKeur and the complaint cannot be resolved through mutual consultation, the consumer should contact WebwinkelKeur (www.webwinkelkeur.nl), which will mediate free of charge. Check whether this online store has an active membership at https://www.webwinkelkeur.nl/leden/. If a resolution is still not reached, the consumer has the option to have their complaint handled by the independent disputes committee appointed by WebwinkelKeur; the ruling of this committee is binding and both the entrepreneur and the consumer agree to this binding ruling. There are costs involved in submitting a dispute to this disputes committee, which are to be paid by the consumer to the relevant committee.
12. Custom-made products
Glass sliding wall systems from Schuifwand Wereld are custom-manufactured based on the specifications provided by the consumer.
- Custom-made products are exempt from the right of withdrawal pursuant to Article 6:230p paragraph 1 sub f of the Dutch Civil Code (see article 6).
- The consumer is responsible for correctly providing the measurements and specifications. In case of doubt, we recommend using the optional measurement service.
- For custom products, a tolerance of ±2mm on the specified dimensions applies. This is in accordance with the industrial standard for glass products and does not constitute grounds for complaints.
- Minor colour differences between aluminium profiles from different production batches are possible and do not constitute a defect.
- Upon delivery, the consumer must immediately check the product for correctness of dimensions, colour and specifications. Deviations must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
- After assembly or installation of custom products, claims regarding dimensions are no longer possible, unless it concerns a manufacturing defect.
13. Assembly and installation
The glass sliding wall systems are designed for self-assembly by the consumer. Professional installation is optionally available.
- Each product comes with a comprehensive assembly manual. Installation instruction videos are also available on our website.
- If the consumer chooses self-assembly, installation must be carried out in accordance with the supplied assembly manual.
