Measurement Guide
How do I measure my canopy for glass sliding walls? Accurate measuring is the foundation for perfectly fitting glass sliding walls. Follow the steps below carefully.
What you need
Measure the width (W)
Measure the inside dimension between the posts/pillars where the glass will be placed.
- Measure at the top, middle and bottom
- Note the smallest and largest measurement in millimeters
- This is your width measurement (W)
Measure the height (H)
Measure from the top of the floor/bottom rail to the underside of the beam where the top rail will go.
- Measure left, center and right
- Note the smallest and largest measurement in millimeters
- This is your height measurement (H)
Check if everything is level
Place your spirit level:
- On the floor
- Against the posts
- Under the top beam
- Do you see deviations? Let us know.
Floor check (important)
The load-bearing capacity of the construction must be at least 120 kg per m². The bottom rail must be placed on a hard, flat surface:
- Concrete / tiles / hard foundation = good
- Wood or sunken tiles = correct first
